That might mean modernising an existing layout, creating a completely different arrangement, adding better storage or replacing a bath with a generous shower area.
The whole refurbishment is organised from start to finish, giving you one clear point of contact throughout the job.
PLANNING YOUR NEW BATHROOM
From the first ideas to the final design
I’ll start by visiting your home to look at the existing bathroom, talk through what you’d like to change and discuss what’s possible with the space.
I’ll take the measurements and photos needed and then provide a ballpark installation figure, including the materials I supply. That gives you a realistic idea of the likely cost before you start choosing your new bathroom.
I can then introduce you to a bathroom supplier I regularly work with, where you can explore different styles, products and finishes and put together the bathroom you want.
Once the final specification is ready, I’ll go through everything and provide a detailed quotation for the complete installation, so you know exactly what’s included before deciding to go ahead.

Once everything has been chosen and the quotation agreed, I’ll organise the work and the different stages needed to bring your new bathroom together.
Protecting your home
Before work begins, access routes and vulnerable flooring are protected to help keep your home clean and minimise disruption while the work is underway.
Strip out & disposal
Your old bathroom is carefully removed and waste from the refurbishment is taken away, leaving the room ready for the transformation to begin.
Plumbing & preparation
The plumbing is altered to suit the new layout and the room is properly prepared for the new bathroom. Any necessary electrical work, plastering and other preparation is coordinated as part of the installation.
Installation
Your chosen bath, shower, toilet, basin, furniture and radiator are installed, together with tiling, flooring and other finishes as the new room starts to take shape.
Finishing touches
The final fittings, sealing and finishing details are completed, everything is cleaned down and your new bathroom is left ready for you to enjoy.

Replace your bath with a shower
You don’t always need to replace the entire bathroom to make a big difference.
If stepping in and out of the bath is becoming awkward, or you simply prefer the convenience of a shower, an existing bath can often be removed and replaced with a spacious shower area while retaining the rest of the bathroom.
Using shower panels can make this a particularly practical option, creating a smart, easy-to-maintain shower area without the cost and disruption of a complete refurbishment.
I’ll look at the existing bathroom and talk you through what’s possible before deciding on the best approach.

Every bathroom is different. A busy family bathroom needs to work differently from a compact en-suite or a dedicated shower room, so the installation should suit both the space and how you’re going to use it.
I install complete bathrooms, en-suites and shower rooms, including baths, showers and enclosures, toilets, basins and vanity units, bathroom furniture, radiators and heated towel rails, together with the plumbing alterations, lighting and other electrical work required to bring everything together.
Whether you’re looking for a clean modern finish, something more traditional or simply a better use of the room you already have, the aim is the same: a bathroom that looks right, works properly and is built to last.

Do you take care of the complete bathroom installation?
Yes. I organise the complete refurbishment from the initial strip-out through to the finished bathroom, so you don’t need to arrange the different stages of the installation yourself.
Can I get help choosing and planning my new bathroom?
Yes. After my initial visit and ballpark installation figure, I can introduce you to a bathroom supplier I regularly work with. They can help you choose the bathroom, furniture and finishes and put together the final specification. Once that’s ready, I’ll use it to prepare the detailed quotation for the installation.
Do I need to choose the bathroom before getting a price?
No. After the initial visit I’ll provide a ballpark installation figure first. Once you’ve chosen the bathroom and the final specification is available, I’ll provide a detailed quotation for the complete installation.
Can you replace my bath with a shower without replacing the whole bathroom?
Often, yes. An existing bath can usually be removed and replaced with a new shower area while retaining much of the existing bathroom. I’ll need to see the room first to work out the best approach.
Do you install en-suites and shower rooms?
Yes. As well as complete bathrooms, I install en-suites and shower rooms and can alter the existing plumbing and layout where required.
